LifeChat Terms & Conditions of Use

LifeChat is offered by Fight 4 Life, Inc. (referred to as “we,” “us, ” or “Fight 4 Life”) under these Terms and Conditions of Use (referred to as this “Agreement”). This Agreement is intended to constitute a binding contract. By using LifeChat, you agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement. Please read them carefully.

LifeChat is not intended for use by anyone under the age of thirteen (13).

Your use of LifeChat does not constitute medical or mental health advice, care, diagnosis or treatment or legal advice.  It does not constitute an attorney-client relationship, a therapist-patient relationship, or a doctor-patient relationship. This service is not a substitute for professional health care. If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, call your doctor or 911 immediately.

LifeChat is made available to you on an “as is” and “as available” basis.  Fight 4 Life cannot guarantee that LifeChat will be secure or continuously available without interruption, or that the servers or electronic information shared are free of viruses or other harmful components.

Fight 4 Life may, in its sole discretion, terminate conversations, block or permanently remove users, restrict the frequency of conversation, and/or terminate or suspend operation of LifeChat in its entirety.

We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to modify this Agreement without advance notice. Your right to access LifeChat is conditioned upon your compliance with the then-current version of this Agreement. By accessing or using LifeChat after any modifications to this Agreement have come into effect, you agree to be bound by the Agreement as modified.  Therefore, we recommend that you check this Agreement each time you access LifeChat. It is your responsibility to review this Agreement for possible modifications. If we determine, in our sole discretion, that a modification to this Agreement materially affects your rights, we will attempt to notify you (for example, by posting a notice on LifeChat.) We assume no responsibility for your failure to actually receive notice.

Original material which we post on LifeChat, including text, data compilations, images, graphics, logos and the overall “look and feel” of LifeChat, is owned or licensed by Fight 4 Life, and is protected by all applicable domestic and international intellectual property laws. Fight 4 Life, fight4lifetx.org and the Fight 4 Life logo are trademarks and/or service marks and the exclusive property of Fight 4 Life. You are granted a limited license to access the material on LifeChat for non-commercial purposes. In addition, Fight 4 Life, Inc.’s express consent is required prior to creating any hyperlink to LifeChat.

Fight 4 Life respects the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe that any content appearing on LifeChat, or on a site to which LifeChat links, is an unauthorized copy of your work in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please contact us at the address for legal notices set forth in the paragraph below.  However, Fight 4 Life does not monitor or control the content of any third-party sites linked to or from LifeChat, and therefore Fight 4 Life is not responsible for the content of any sites linked to LifeChat.
